I've helped people using the "Free Books" so a little familiar with it, myself I've never gotten a book from there. I usually read kindle books that I borrow from "overdrive". I use both my Kindle Fire & my Ipad for that.
I have heard about Ibooks however never tried it. I do feel this would be something for people with kids that they could enjoy using. I like that you can choose to read the book or have a narrator read for you.
