Thing 16

I did download the "Audioboo" app.  Not something I'm interested in at this time, but it was sort of cool.  Not probably going to be using it anytime soon, so I will probably delete the app.

Thing 15

I Just watched the short video on "VIZ", didn't really do anything with it.  However I can see that this could be something of interest for people that need to put information together for display.  As a student this could be useful.

Thing 14

I have been to a couple session which talks about apps available for free, "Vine" which allows you to make short videos was mentioned.  I've not used Vine however I have done some video recording with my Ipad.  I know the video is only about 6 seconds long and will save to your photos.

Thing 13

This is something I didn't do anything on my device with, as I don't give presentations.  I did go through and looked over the things offered in this area.  I also listened to the short video that were available.  So I don't have much to say on this section.

Thing 12

I've helped people using the "Free Books"  so a little familiar with it, myself I've never gotten a book from there.  I usually read kindle books that I borrow from "overdrive".  I use both my Kindle Fire & my Ipad for that.

I have heard about Ibooks however never tried it.  I do feel this would be something for people with kids that they could enjoy using.  I like that you can choose to read the book or have a narrator read for you.

Thing 11

First "ELM"  I have used this with my granddaughters.  I like that it is a good resource for any age.  I've done several training session when they are available and each time felt like I find new things to help with using this.  Not often do you get asked for help for ELM, but have recommended the source for people to use.

I never thought to be a person that would download ebooks or magazines on a Ipad and enjoy reading them from it.  With our library having access to both Overdrive & Zinio I have used both several times.  I especially have enjoyed it while traveling.  Not having to worry about misplacing a book borrowed from my library or spending money on a magazine.  I feel that some people feel that these two sources could be made more user friendly.

Thing 10

I believe my granddaughters put Instagram on my Ipad.  I have watched them use it and never did this on my own.  It's seems like a good way to share your photo's with other people.  They have included me in some of the pictures on intagram & their snapchat.  My granddaughters have also shown me "Snapchat" so we have sent some from their phones.
